We are very mindful of our role in society and do our best to mitigate our environmental impact and improve our energy efficiency.

We use as little packaging as possible and recycle over 95% of all our waste
We use as little energy as possible by investing in highly efficient machinery and LED lighting
We use as little unrecycled material as possible and ensure all our products are recyclable
We comply fully with all environmental legislation, not just in word, but in spirit.

Environmental, Social, & Governance

Sustainable Manufacturing

We review alternatives to existing machines that reduce energy use and improve material yield. Energy and material efficiency are central to our equipment purchasing decisions. This is part of strategy to improve resource efficiency and lower environmental impact,

Circular Waste Systems

We operate both a foam and plastic compactor, and a granulator supporting internal recycling and reuse and reducing volume of waste for transport . These systems support our shift to circular waste handling , cutting what we send out and reclaiming more for future use.

Renewable Energy

We are investing in on-site solar energy to reduce our reliance on the grid and lower our operational emissions over the long term. This forms part of our commitment to more sustainable manufacturing and greater energy independence.

Workforce-Led Recycling

Our workforce is actively involved in clearly marked waste streams, structured recycling programmes, and regular awareness campaigns that have grown in scale and impact. Staff also use the recycling deposit return scheme to donate to local charities.

Green Mobility

We have committed to installing electric vehicle charging stations to support sustainable commuting and our transition to a greener, employee-supported workplace. We have also introduced a Bike to Work Scheme, which has seen strong uptake among our employees.

Local Partnerships

We are proud to support Waterford City Council’s “Cleaner, Greener Waterford” campaign. This includes a commitment to reducing waste, improving energy use, and aligning our operational changes with wider community goals.
